Biography

• Steve Compagno brings a wealth of market experience to the real estate industry. He simply knows how to get the job done. His combined expertise of real estate, finance networking and transaction negotiation makes him uniquely qualified for the real estate market in Marin.
  
  Steve’s established network in the banking and finance industry is especially important when working with buyers and sellers. Steve offers on-the-spot market expertise that assists his clients in making accurate decisions regarding market conditions, loan qualifications and available programs.
  
  Prior to transitioning to real estate sales, Steve was consistently one of the most successful mortgage brokers in the Bay Area for over 20 years. In his first year at Frank Howard Allen, Steve earned the company-wide honor of “Rookie of the Year.” His constant production has landed him in the top 5% of all real estate agents in Marin County.
  
  Born and raised in Marin County, Steve graduated from Marin Catholic High School and received a scholarship to play baseball at Cal Poly. Steve graduated from Cal Poly with a Business and Finance degree. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1982 and played minor league baseball for several years before beginning a career in the mortgage business in 1986. Currently, Steve and his wife Julie reside in Larkspur with their four children.
