NOVATO, CA, May 7, 2008 - Growing since 1910 to include over 600 agents, Frank Howard Allen is thrilled to add 22 new agents to an already impressive roster. Amongst the newest members is Sandi Breen, a 32-year Bay Area real estate veteran who served previous roles as the Managing Broker of Coldwell Banker Northern California’s San Rafael and Petaluma offices. During her 11-year tenure with the Petaluma office, Sandi built the branch into one of the leading real estate offices in Sonoma County including being named Top Producing Office in Petaluma (2000). Ronna Somers and Fred Angeli Promoted to Key Management Positions

San Rafael, the 2007 Office of the Year, Gains New Leadership - Rocky Vannucci, Manager and Matt MacPhee, Assistant Manager 

Novato, CA, May 15, 2008 – Frank Howard Allen is pleased to announce the selection of Ronna Somers as General Sales Manager and Fred Angeli as Director of Risk Management. Both positions will become effective in August.

“After interviewing many wonderful candidates, from inside the Company and out, we have made the decision to restructure the job of General Manager. This has allowed us to promote two stellar candidates from within our great pool of talent, something we prefer to do whenever possible,” said Noreen Smith, President/CFO of Frank Howard Allen.

“We have grown over the years to encompass over 600 of the best agents in the business and we are so fortunate to have the kind of talent and leadership in our company that allows us to move our own into key positions,” adds current General Manager, Becky Gould.
 
A 30-year real estate veteran, Somers has been with Frank Howard Allen since 1984 working first as a sales associate and then as Assistant Manager of the San Rafael office; in 1998 Somers was promoted to Manager of the Novato Office and in 2007 she took the helm of the Business Development department. As General Sales Manager, Somers will continue to work on recruiting, retention, and training, and will also concentrate on the area of productivity.

Angeli, Manager of the San Rafael Office for 20 years, will be responsible for risk management as well as forms and other related areas in his new position of Director of Risk Management. Angeli has been part of Frank Howard Allen for more than 20 years and has 30+ years of real estate experience. 

Effective May 1, the new Manager of the San Rafael Office is Rocky Vannucci; Matt MacPhee is Assistant Manager. Vannucci joined Frank Howard Allen in 1984 and in June of 2006 he was appointed Assistant Manager of the San Rafael Office. MacPhee has over 20 years of real estate experience.

Frank Howard Allen Holds Market Share Leadership for 2007

Novato, CA, March 1, 2008 — Frank Howard Allen is pleased to announce its continued market share leadership in the North Bay. For 2007, the company had 23.3% of total units sold and 21.6% of total dollar volume in Marin County. In addition, the company had 16.1% of total units sold and 17.4% of the total dollar volume in Marin and Sonoma Counties combined.

2007 Year-End Top Producers Honored at Annual Company Kick Off

Veteran Agent Takes on New Role at Flagship Office

Novato, CA, August 15, 2007 — Melissa Lyckberg, a 30 year veteran and consummate professional has been named Assistant Manager of the Frank Howard Allen Greenbrae Office. Melissa joins current Office Manager, Cyd Gardner, and will also continue to sell real estate on her own.

Melissa sold homes in Berkeley for twenty years before moving to Marin in 1997. She joined Frank Howard Allen in 2006 and found instant success in her new office, which she attributes to her kinship with Frank Howard Allen’s business model. “Frank Howard Allen is an ideal model for building business. Frank Howard Allen's Matching Grants Program Raises Over $55,000 for North Bay Organizations

NOVATO, CA, August 13, 2007 — Frank Howard Allen, dedicated to supporting local community causes and contributing to the responsible growth and development of the North Bay since 1910, raised over $55,000 for local organizations through the 2006-2007 Matching Grants program, designed to create partnerships with local community-based organizations. Each year the agents choose an organization in their community to be the recipient of their office's Matching Grant funds, generated when agents elect to donate a sum of money from closed escrows, which is then matched dollar for dollar by the company.

The Matching Grant checks are presented annually. Among this year’s recipients are COTS/Committee of the Shelterless (Petaluma Office), Homeward Bound of Marin (Tiburon and Novato Offices), The Living Room (Santa Rosa Office), Meals of Marin (Greenbrae Office), Hospice By The Bay (San Rafael Office) and AHO/The Ambassadors of Hope and Opportunity (Mill Valley Office).

Company Sponsored Children's Avenue Raises $15,000 For Youth in Arts

SAN RAFAEL, CA, June 15, 2007 – Children ages 2-12 were invited to express their creativity at the 2007 Youth in Arts Italian Street Painting Festival and Children’s Avenue, sponsored by Frank Howard Allen Realtors and Old Republic Title Company, June 9-10 in downtown San Rafael. As per the norm, volunteers captured the event as keepsakes for the artists to take home. However, for the first time ever, images were also taken digitally for an online gallery – KidStreetArt.com.

Children’s Avenue participants paid $12 for a 2-by-2-foot square, box of pastels and a blending eraser, generating $15,144 to benefit Youth in Arts, the premier provider of arts education to Marin County Students.

Frank Howard Allen and Old Republic Title Company Celebrate 197 Combined Years of Community Service

The Leading Bay Area Companies Have Teamed Up to Sponsor the 2007 Youth in Arts Italian Street Painting Festival and Children's Avenue

NOVATO, CA, May 23, 2007 – Frank Howard Allen Realtors and Old Republic Title Company are proud to serve as benefactor sponsors of the 2007 Youth in Arts Italian Street Painting Festival and Children’s Avenue, June 9-10.

Each year, a highlight of the festival is the Children’s Avenue, where small squares are reserved for children ages 2-12 to create their own street art. To capture this creativity in action, volunteers from Frank Howard Allen and Old Republic will take individual photos of the mini-madonnari for them to take home. The photographers can be spotted wearing blue aprons, and as a new feature this year, a representative will also take an assortment of digital photos. With permission, these images will be featured in an online gallery following the event.  The cost for a square is only $12 and proceeds go to benefit Youth in Arts, the premier provider of arts education to Marin County students.

Agents to host a booth selling Snoopy Figurines for Kids to Paint as Part of the “Life is Doggone Wild” Theme on May 19

NOVATO, CA, May 8, 2007 – To show its support for the community it serves, Frank Howard Allen Realtors is a sponsor of the 113th Annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival held on Saturday, May 19, 2007. This year, the festival will join forces with Snoopy’s “Joe Cool” Summer Paint-Off, serving up a main event in which 100 five-foot Snoopy statues will be painted by local artists in front of thousands of spectators. Frank Howard Allen is proud to once again help bring this fabulous event to life and will host a booth at the fairgrounds where kids of all ages can buy and paint a small Snoopy figurine. Proceeds from the sales will go to support the Rose Parade and Festival. The event starts with a parade in downtown Santa Rosa at 10 am and continues with a festival at the fairgrounds that goes from 11 am until 4 pm.
